As part of her digital residency at Diamantina (Brazil), Midori was commissioned to write two works for Diamantina Youth Symphony Orchestra and Diamantina Brass Band.
These pieces will be premiered at the Vesperata Festival and the Youth Orchestra concert.
Midori collaborated with UK Cosmetics brand LUSH in writing original music for the new massage treatment 'Tangled Hair'.
This was launched along with the opening of the LUSH Spa at the Shinjuku Flagship Store.
NEW SPA EXPERIENCE:
Midori wrote Full as Deep for Undershaft in the City of London, commissioned by Musicity x Sculpture in the City.
The piece was premiered in July 2018 and subsequently in July 2019 as part of Whitechapel Gallery's late night festival, Nocturnal Creatures, in which Midori gave a special performance next to Nancy Rubins' sculpture, Crocodylius Philodendrus.
Full as Deep is now available on the Musicity WebApp when visiting Undershaft in the City of London.

In collaboration with electronic artist/producer Ski Oakenfull, Midori wrote the music for Maggie's Centres' LIFE Exhibition.
Since the launch in September 2017 at Christie's London, this exhibition has toured around the UK throughout 2017-2019, at galleries including:
