The Duport Ensemble is an exciting, versatile ensemble, formed primarily as a string trio in 2013. The founding members collectively have appeared in major venues throughout the U.K., Europe and Asia, and as chamber musicians they have worked closely with the Kreutzer Quartet, Stephan Picard and Nobuko Imai. The ensemble was named after the cellist Jean-Louis Duport, whose performances were of inspiration to Beethoven. From the works written by Mozart, Beethoven to the works written by composers of today, the ensemble has great interest to perform these works along with communication of context and its significance to a wider audience.
